In 2002, during its annual awards banquet, the
Ypsilanti Heritage Foundation (YHF) acknowledged Jack's leadership to the YHF, his service,
for many years, as vice chair of
Ypsilanti's Historic District Commission (HDC),
as Heritage Foundation president from 1982-1990, as well as his many years of community service to the community.
